In Very Good to Excellent condition, this comes from around 1970, and measures Height 40in. x Length 48in. x Width 23in.

Along with the metal frame, you have two wood slats (that carry the name "Black Beauty"), making it a bit easier for your toddler to climb aboard.

And there is a Bonus with this tremendous item;

Throw the switch underneath and you get "galloping' sound to go along with the ride.

Very Vintage Japanese Temple Bells

Their use goes back centuries, and are known by various names, which, for that, we go to the Wikipedia;

"Bonshō (Japanese: 梵鐘?, Buddhist bells), also known as tsurigane (釣り鐘?, hanging bells) or ōgane (大鐘?, great bells) are large bells found in Buddhist temples throughout Japan, used to summon the monks to prayer and to demarcate periods of time. Rather than containing a clapper, bonshō are struck from the outside, using either a handheld mallet or a beam suspended on ropes."

Ours are in excellent condition, with a floral motif in which colors still vibrant, some wear consistent with their age, and, we don't have the striker for it (which should be easy enought to find one - e.g. a vibraphone mallet would likely work).

This is a great get for anyone with an Oriental Decor in their home (or garden), as well as a major score for the collector of Bells and Chimes.

Vintage Ted Williams Signing With Red Sox Photo

It's "Play Ball!" here at 13909 Antiques.

Just in is a major cool item;

Vintage Ted Williams Signing With Red Sox Photo

In the photo is of Ted Williams, watched by owner Tom Yawkey (seated) and Player-Manager Joe Cronin (standing).

For those not steeped in Red Sox lore, The Splendid Splinter went on to a prolific career with the Boston Red Sox, hitting 521 HRs, and a multi-time Home Run, Batting Average and RBI Champion, leading the Red Sox to the 1946 World Series.

Williams is also the last Major League Baseball Player to hit for over .400 for a season.

We're not sure of the year, as Williams does look older, so likely, Williams re-signing or signing an extension.

Our photo, made from the original negative, measures 13"H x 20"w and is suitable for framing.

(There is another photo out there, a various Poster sites, taken in the same signing session, with just Williams and Yawkey in it - ours is bigger and better)

These come from the 1970s-1980's. however the movies depicted, in many cases, with the original poster art branding, are primarily American (sorry, no Jerry Lewis films), with a handful of French movies.

These included blockbusters and classics, like 'Star Wars', 'Singing In The Rain', 'How The West Was Won', 'Dial M for Murder', two Marilyn Monroe movies - 'The Seven Year Itch' and 'Bus Stop' - 'East of Eden', Mad Max', 'To Have or Have Not', One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest', 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof' and scores more.

All are in good-to-very-good condition.

Buy a bevy of them to frame and make your Favorite Movies collage, or these would make a great gift for your move buff friend or family member.

This is No, 421 made, and, it is in very, very good condition, and structural sound (some typical wear for an item of its' age).

The Paris Mfg. Co. was started in the late 1800's, and was also known for making its' Western Flyer Sleds, and toboggins.

While it has many characteristics of a Tiffany, we could not find any Maker Markings on it, so, it may very well be a Bradley Hubbard, Chicago Mosaic , or, even, a Handel.

For whoever made it, it's simply gorgeous.

It's a ceiling hang lamp shade, measues about 22" and is in excellent condition, with Flower-themed design, with 4 rows of smaller stained glass, and crowning at the top.

Don't mss out, this type, and quality, Vintage Slag Leaded Stained Glass Lamp Shade doesn't come around every day.

Awesome Copper/Brass Deep Sea Diving Helmet Artwork!

For those of you of a certain age, you'll know the above-reference is about the Lloyd Bridges character in the television program 'Seahunt', which ran from 1958 to 1961.

And, no doubt, he'd be drooling over our lastest acquisition;

Copper/Brass Deep Sea Diving Helmet Artwork!

It's not (that we know of) an Antique, but it is rather incredible, large, with a bit of weight to it (likely around 40-50lbs.).

And, there is a element of Steam Punk to it, as whoever put it together (or cleaned it up), added a spigot to one of its' protusions, as well as a few extra brass couplings

The view portals do not open.

What can this be used for? ...

Let us count the ways ...

For someone strong enough, they can wear it to next years' Steam Punk Festival, or, repurpose it into a large lamp ... A seafood restaurant can have it as a mighty impressive prop to great their diners, or, if you have a salt water fish tank large enough, you can give your pet fish a nice playground ...
