Musical Interlude: Once Upon A Time In The West Theme

We're busy today, dealing with a bevy of new inventory,  including a 1940's Barrister Bookcase, two pieces of a 1930's Kitchen, early century Sideboard and Curved Glass Cabinet and some tremendous orignal artwork, from noted Armenian artist Gourgen Manoukian.

So, with it being a dreary day here around town, a piece that fits the day, and will lift your spirits as well.

It is the theme of the movie 'Once Upon A Time In The West', from the legendary composer, Ennio Morricone, and it contains, hands down, one of the greatest worldess vocals every recorded.

This became my weekend anthem, over 30-years ago.

I first heard in when living in Los Angeles (Venice Beach - a Fellini film, without an ending), on the 24-hour Jazz Station, KKGO ...

Later, moving up to San Franciso, the legendary KJAZ radio station, their afternoon host would kick-off his show at 2PM with it ...

It, of course, is the classic Oscar Brown Jr. tune, 'Hymn To Friday'
