"Holy Fantastic Farming, Batman!"
It's been a busy week here at 13909 Antiques, a wave of new inventory rolling in the door.
And here's one of the items;
Vintage Ertl International 1596 Tractor with Accessories
It's a replica, the International 1586 Tractor, with protective cab, and the accessories of a trailer with combine mower.
This was the first toy put out by Fred and Gertrude Ertl, founders of the Ertl Toy Company in 1945, created in their Dubuque, Iowa basement. Their goal was to make toys, paying great attention to detail, and durable enough for hard play.
Ertl was instrumental in the development and construction of the National Farm Toy Museum. The museum opened in 1986, and houses a large collection of farm toys, collectibles and memorabilia.
Measurements: tractor 9 x 7.25 metal and plastic trailer 10 x 1.75 x 4 tractor with tow bar 12.25 Weight : 2lbs
Hitch up your overalls and make way to 13909 Antiques to score this gem
