Vintage Hennessy Liquor Display with Capitaine Richard Hennessy Figure
We'll whisper the word "Rare", as we could only locate this Vintage piece of Liquor Advertinsing and Display in only two places.
It likely comes from the 1950s or Early 1960s, with a Capitaine Richard Hennessy Figure standing tall at 13" and 7 1/2" wide (from right hand to left elbow), with the base measuring 11 1/2" x 6" (you'll have to supply your own bottle of Hennessy Cognac).
The Capitiane appears to be made from Chalkware, or, some type of resin material, and is in excellent condition, as is the base.
In the event you're not familiar with Capitaine Richard Hennessy;
Leaving the county of Cork, the young captain Richard Hennessy in 1757 leaving his native Ireland to be at the service of King Louis XV. But stationed in the island of Ré, he discovered the charms of the Charente and abandoning military dress, he began trading brandies and founded in 1765 the house Hennessy Cognac. In its selection of the best spirits, he is always looking for perfection and quality has endured for eight generations.
