Saturday At The Golden Ball Tavern Museum Antique Show

As you know, Saturday was a tremendous weather day, sunny, warm, reaching into the 80's, so it was a perfect day for 13909 Antiques to participate in the 47th Annual Golden Tavern Museum Outdoor Antique Show.

We were joined in our space by semi-retired Antique Dealer Rose Flynn, and her brother Jackie, in a ideally-located space, diagonally across from the Museum's barn, and right near the Food Station.

Traffic throughout the day was light, but, between those that attended, and the dealers surrounding us, we had a good time, and we look forward to participating again next year.

Our apologies, again, to anyone who came by 13909 Antiques on Saturday, to find us closed (and we will be closing again this week, for 2, or, 3-days - there'll be a seperate post on that tomorrow).

Sunday At The Flea Market With George

No, It's not a new play by Sondheim, or painting by Seurat ...

And, undoubtedly, somebody at the place had the name "George"

Just having a little fun, as 13909 Antiques participated in the season opener of the Somerville Flea Market (formerly called The Davis Square Flea Market).

It was a beautiful, Ernie Banks day, warm, bright sunshine, and a teeming crowd of shoppers.

We were joined in our space by our good friends at Artistic Orientals, who carries some very major, killer, antique Oriental Carpets..

While 13909 Antiques didn't experience a bevy of buyers, we did have one, very discerning customer;

All-in-all, it was a good day, and look for 13909 Antiques back there on June 15th.
