Major Bonus item into 13909 Antiques this week!

Vintage Bambi Serigraph Cell

This was a coup for scoring this tremendous film art work.

It is Original, and a Limted Edition from Walt Disney.

As it says on the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity;

"...To produce a serigraph image, a hand-cut master screen is prepared, for each color, from original studio art. The serigrapher applies each color separately, one screen at a time, in perfect registration. The result is an original work of art."

There was a limited production on 9,500 serigraph cells, and then the screen were destroyed "ensuring their limted status."

We have Bambi here now, and more on the way, of Winnie The Pooh, Donald Duck and Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Happy Memorial Day Holiday!

Well, we just had a little surprise outside of our shop

I noticed that all these people started lining up outside, some seated in beach chairs, quickly followed by sirens and the sounds of a marching band ... 

It was the Belmont Memorial Day Parade, coming down Belmont Street, taking a left onto Grove Street, heading to the cemetrary ...

Leading the Vets was one of 13909 Antiques good customers.

I hope today is a good day for all, however you celebrate it, with your rememberance of the veterans who gave their lives serving our country.

This is awesome item, in remarkably good condition for being close to 100-years-old.

It's is missing it's hook, to tow with, but all other parts are there, and in working order.

The owner's father painted the truck some decades ago, but you can still make out the Buddy-L branding.

This is a Consignment Item, and the owner is requesting serious buyers only.

Come check it out ... If you are an Antique Toy Collector, this may be for you ... It would also make a tremendous display item, for a Auto Dealer or Mechanic

Antique Metal and Enamel Wash Basin, with Stand

While we don't like to toss around the word "rare" very often, into 13909 Antiques is a most uncommon item;

Antique Metal and Enamel Wash Basin, with Stand

This oringinally comes from England, and came out of the summer home, up north, from a weathly family who ran, decades ago, some kind of hotel, or boarding house.

Once indoor plumbling came into vogue, a half-dozen of these Antique Metal and Enamel Wash Basins, with Stands were shuttered to the attic.

This one survived.

It does have signs of use and wear ... The large blue pitcher has rust and a small hole in it's base, and, as with old enamal, various knics and dents, some with rust.

It comes with the stand, the large pitcher, the sink basin (which has a drain hole), the mid-size pot to catch the water, and another small enamel chamber pot.

This would be a great piece for someone that runs a Bed-and-Breakfast, a nice prop for the lobby

1930's Federal Marigold Carnival Glass, Normandie/Bouquet and Lattice Pattern

This Federal Glass pattern is subtle, but runs through every piece, and the pieces have great iridescence

Another bonus of this Federal Glass;

"Originally called Normandie, this pattern is also called Bouquet and Lattice by collectors. Iridescent pieces were made towards the end of the Normandie production period. The marigold finish was fired on over crystal."

There's 97-pieces in all (we threw a few extra bonus pieces in, off-pattern, as they be major cool), giving you the opportunity to seat 16-people at your table.
