Vintage Fenton Slag Glass Duck-On-Nest
This is from the mid-1960's, and is both beautiful, scarce, and in excellent condition, maufactured by Fenton Art Glass as a contract mold, and sold by the L.G. Wright Co.
It has a unique double-elevated tail, is 6.5" long and is even more collectible, as it has large separate bands of both Opal & Purple Slag glass, making it a most dynamic display (beyond those with minimal color variations / patterns).
This spectacular piece is 6.5 X 4.25 X 4.5" tall and weighs a robust 1lb,10 oz.
