Vintage 1940s Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar #967

"Holy Big Bad Wolf, Batman!"

We have a classic here at 13909 Antiques!

Vintage 1940s Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar #967

Hull began producing, in what turned out to be their most successful line, the Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar in 1943.

Ours is marked on the bottom;

         #967
         Hull-Ware
         Little Red Riding Hood
         Patent Applied For
         USA

It's one of the originals, measuring roughly 8 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches.

It does have a hairline crack on the outer glaze on the front left side, otherwise, in great condition, colors still very vibrant.

Whether you bake cookies, or not, this is a great collectible to own, so tell the big, bad wolfe you'll be back, that your skipping over to 13909 Antiques to grab the Vintage 1940s Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar #967 before someone else does.

  1. I have just the top of a cookie jar . And I’m looking for the bottom part. It’s a long Story but when I was a kid my mother had a cookie jar and I broke the bottom base of the cookie jar. I remember my mother used to hit me because I always played with the cookie jar head . I’ll sadly to say I might’ve passed away of cancer when I was seven years old .But I still have somehow the top part of the red Ridinghood jar The cookie jar either was from the 30s or 40s . I was just wondering if you knew where I could get a base of the cookie jar .This is the only thing I have left with my mother And like I said somehow I ended up with it.
