1920s Freshman Masterpiece Radio Cabinet
Well, we believe it was a radio cabinet, as it has the classic "Freshman Masterpiece" on the inside of the top door.
Chas. Freshman Company began making/selling radios in the early 20s, and what we found on line we're all Table Models.
So, ours must have been a Deluxe Model, standing tall at 44", and 23 1/4", in Mahogany, with three levels, two pull down doors, and the bottom, swing out doors, with holes in the back for the wiring.
The radio is no more, stripped out, leaving this wonderful cabinet,, that could be employed in a variety of uses.
Such as storage for CD's, Record Albums, paperwork, of just about anything else you would be able to fit into it.
Or, in the kitchen, for your cook books, baking pans, extra plates and bowls.
However you wish to use it, you can add to your decor a look of yesteryear, for whatever room you place it in.
