This is a Vintage Sewing Basket that our clients' grandfather repurposed into a Shoe Shine Box.
Nothing like a little Americana ingenuity.
It's 14" Tall and 14" Wide, coming from the 1940s or 1950s.
To put a gleaming shine on the ol' shoes, just flip the cover over, lift your shoe to the shoe rest, and start working the polish and brush..
A few items have been left in it, includng a pair of Shoe Savers.
